Prof. V. Srinivasa Chakravarthy
Professor of Biotechnology, IIT Madras ยท Co-founder, Neurogati
V. Srinivasa Chakravarthy obtained his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and completed postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. He is currently Professor of Biology at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. His research interests span computational neuroscience and machine learning โ with a focus on modelling basal ganglia to understand Parkinson's Disease, neuron-astrocyte-vascular networks, and spatial cells of the hippocampus. He is the founder of Neurogati and Neurovidya, initiatives aimed at translating neuroscience into education and technology.
